Dreams of spirits

To the stranger in an unknown land.

To the moon awake during the day.

To the only rose in winters whiteness.

To the stars on a cloudy night.

To music amongst the deaf.

To beauty amongst the blind.

To the weary amoung the young.

To the faithful amoung the unbelievers.

To the living amoung the dead.

 

Only when you are snatched away.

Only when night arrives.

Only when  you droop and wither.

Only when you cannot shine.

Only when your strings are broken.

Only when you age and fade.

Only when you refuse to take another step.

Only when you embrace your soul.

Only when you die.

 

Shall you come to wake and find,

that life and death, both left you behind.
